DUVAL, Shirley Jane May - Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Shirley passed away with her family by her side on October 10, 2021 at the age of 90 years old.
She will always be remembered for her gorgeous smile and laugh, love of travel, playing (and winning) bingo, member of the legion, her adoring love of animals, up for any fun activity, and always prepared to be the social butterfly that she was born to be.
Shirley is survived by her brother Howard Fugard of Thunder Bay.
Her children Signe Karen Baldacchino of Scarborough, Glenn Locken (& Lorraine) of Sand Lake and Donna Locken (& Denis) of Timmins.
Her grandchildren Jeffrey Vipond (& Liane) of Timmins, Jennifer Vipond of Grimsby, Leif Tait of Timmins, Clark Gauthier of Sault Ste. Marie, and Shane Tait of Scarborough.
Her great-grandchildren Ashton, Joshua, Kassian, Brody, Brayden, Alexander, and Cole, numerous nieces and nephews, and close friends from all her adventures in life.
Shirley was always kind, generous, and a friend to everyone and she will be dearly missed by all.
We want to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff at Scarborough General Hospital, and Cedarbrook Lodge Bayshore Floor for their support and care over these last few months.
Visitation and the service will take place at Highland Funeral Home, Scarborough on October14, 2021.
