GROSSI, Maria Luigia - With sadness, we announce the passing of Maria on October 13, 2021 at home at the age of 83.
Predeceased by her husband Mario 60 years ago on July 4, 1961.
Cherished mother of Joanna (Tony Panzini), Antonietta (George Linzalone) and Luigi (Nancy).
Proud Nonna of Mario (Daniela), Marco (Amanda), Adamo (Valerie), Anthony, Michelle, and Alexander and great-grandmother of Aurora, Gianna, Leo, Elena, Chiara and soon to be sixth great-grandchild.
Forever in the hearts of her brothers Peter, Mario and Antonio Del Duca she will be missed by her nieces, nephews and their families. A dear sister-in-law, she will be missed by Antonio Grossi.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home, Dufferin Chapel, Toronto on Friday from 2-4, 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W., at Dufferin St.) on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Due to capacity restrictions, a private entombment will follow.
In memory of Maria, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
