BASSANO, Francesco 'Frank' Angelo - Of Scarborough Ontario passed away on the morning of October 10, 2021 at Providence Healthcare in Scarborough Ontario.
Frank was born on August 17th, 1925 to Brigida and Vincenzo Bassano in St. Catherine's Ontario, Canada.
He was preceded in death by his parents Brigida and Vincenzo, his siblings Teresa, Rose, Antoinette and Joseph.
Frank is survived by his wife of 72 years Sebastiana (Bessie), his children Vincent (Barb), Frank (Marilyn), Bridget (Felix), his two grandsons Craig (Holly) and Benjamin, his granddaughters Angela (Fred) and Lauren (Dave), his great grandsons Riley and Alessandro, his great granddaughters Sofia, Ayla, Lily and Lia, and countless nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
To my beloved husband, our loving Father, Papa and Great Grand Papa who’s love shone a light for us all to follow, who’s pride in us made us feel special, who’s steady hand provided a rudder for us to navigate rough sea’s, who’s unselfish devotion to family showed us how to give love without reservation or expectation. From this world you have passed and yet in this world you remain. You have touched so many that you are here in all our hearts, shared memories and thoughts.
Private Services will be held at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough, Ontario. Date of Memorial Service: Thursday October 21st First Viewing: 10:00AM to 10:45AM Second Viewing: 11:00AM to 11:45AM Service: 12:00PM to 1:00PM.
