McGUIRK, Christopher Patrick - Christopher Patrick McGuirk (The old boy or Uncle Christy), born on March 7, 1933, in Dublin, Ireland, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Vista Care Community, Woodbridge, ON, after a two year battle with lung cancer. He was in his 89th year.
Survived by his Loving children Chris McGuirk, Sèan McGuirk and his wife Jacqueline, Grant Copithorn, Steven Copithorn, and David McGuirk and his wife Chrystal.
His beloved Grandkids, Mike, Erin, Leigh, Holly, Daniel, Taylor, Brandon, and Neil and his adored Great Grandkids, Jack, Malia, and Dash.
Predeceased by his sons Paul McGuirk and Roy Copithorn.
Chris loved riding motorcycles, watching sports with his boys, and loved his family to a fault. He worked sheet metal, coached two Gold Medalists, even though he couldn't skate, and was a loyal Legion member.
He is at last at peace and finally has made it home to his Nancy, leaving behind beautiful memories to cherish in our hearts and minds.
