KWIECIEN, Sister Mary Alice Felician   -  Sister Sister Mary Alice (Krystyna) Kwiecien, 89, peacefully went home to her God on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital. 

During her 71 years of religious life, Sister served as a catechist and pastoral assistant in various parishes.

She was instrumental in the development of the St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish community and loved her ministry working with parishioners to coordinate various programs.

Sr. Alice, working with Immigration Canada, and with the support of the parish community sponsored Polish immigrants coming to Canada.

From 1980-2008, she had helped 6,000 Polish families settle into their new country.

Sister was predeceased by her parents (Maria and Joseph), brothers Richard and Marian, and sister, Zofia.

Loving sister of Michalina Sherwood, and loving aunt of several nieces and nephews who remember her in their hearts always. 

A Wake will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 4260 Cawthra Rd., Mississauga, followed by the rosary.

The Mass of Christian Burial will then be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Felician Sisters.
