LANZAROTTA, Veronica Mary (nee PICCININNI) - July 17, 1940 - October 13, 2021
Veronica (Ronnie) Lanzarotta passed away in her 82nd year.
She suffered from Alzheimer's for more than 15 years and passed away peacefully after her family said their goodbyes.
She can now join her beloved husband Augustine (Gus) and her brothers Joseph, Sal, Vince, and Harold. She is survived by her children Luanne (Michael), Philip (Joanne) and Tina (Liviu), her grandchildren Joanna, Ashley (Don), Augustine (Lainie), Deandra, Talia, and David and her great-granddaughter Gianna Veronica.
Ronnie will always be remembered as a fun-loving happy, smiling ray of sunshine who loved to laugh and loved to make others laugh. She often was the target of her own jokes and that brought her and everyone around her joy.
Walk-through visitation for all will take place at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church at 3220 Bayview Ave., Toronto, on Monday, October 18, 2021, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Funeral mass, by invitation only, is at 11:00 a.m.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in honour of her lengthly struggle with the disease.
