TAKEUCHI, Yoneko 'Edith' - It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of Yoneko, on October 15, 2021 just shy of her 90th birthday.
She is lovingly missed by her husband of 63 years, Naomichi (Abie) Takeuchi.
Her children, Kathryn (Sean), Wayne (Denise) and Robert (Andrea).
Her grandchildren, Natalie, Michele and Naomi.
Her brother Sho (Helen) Teramoto, sisters Emiko Teramoto, Mitsuko (Shirley) Teramoto and Masako (Satch) (Ed) Ryujin and her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by brothers Yuzo (Bing) and James.
A private service will be held on October 25, 2021 at 2 pm and we invite friends and family to join us virtually from the link provided.
In lieu of flowers and kodan we respectfully ask that donations in her memory be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, the Nikkei Voice, or a charity of your choice.
