TATTERSALL, Juliet Mary   - February 10, 1944 - October 15, 2021

It is with deep sadness that we announce that Julie Mary Tattersall (nee Crane) passed away October 15, 2021 after a short battle with cancer.

She is survived by her children Jane, Jennifer (Bryan), and Jaclyn; her granddaughter Lola; siblings David Crane (Francoise), Richard Crane (Mary deceased), and Vicki Hamilton (George).

Julie was born in England and emigrated to Canada with her family aboard the Queen Mary in 1948.

A much-respected horsewoman, she was involved in many facets of the equestrian industry, as a rider, trainer, coach and breeder of thoroughbreds, Welsh ponies and hunter-jumpers.

Julie truly cherished all of the relationships she made and the students she coached.

A fixture at horse shows for over 35 years, she passed her love of horses onto her three daughters who continue to be involved in the sport.

Upon retirement from training and coaching, Julie found the time to indulge her love of music, theatre and books, and spent much time with her beloved dogs, taking long walks around the farm.

A Celebration of Life is being planned.

For those who wish, donations can be made in Memory of Julie Tattersall to Princess Margaret Hospital, Southlake Foundation or Danny and Ron's Rescue.
