MUSHING, Richard "Rick" - At the age of 71, and after a lengthy battle with COPD and Sarcoidosis, Rick passed away surrounded by love, at St. Joseph's Hospital, on Friday, October 8, 2021.
He will be dearly missed by his common-law wife, Patty Jones, of 14 years.
Dear father of Andrew (Patricia) Mushing, and cherished step-father of Christopher, Phillip (Jeanette) and Theresa Raponi.
Loving Papa of Tessa Mushing and Arabella Raponi. He was a proud Hamiltonian and 37 year employee/retiree of Dofasco.
After many years of living his best life, Rick is now breathing easy, listening to his Blues, playing drums, cruising in his Corvette, and cheering on his favourite sports teams.
Rick will always be remembered as a cool dresser with his newest fedora, hip shoes and colourful ties.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated by St. Joseph's Hospital or The Canadian Lung Association.
