Quattrin EdaQUATTRIN, Eda (Edith Mary)   -  Passed away peacefully at Runnymede Health Care on November 15, 2021 after a long illness that she bore with extraordinary strength and with deep gratitude for the care and attention she received on a daily basis.

A special thank you, therefore, to Dr. Landolt, Dr. Muthulangum and all the dedicated RHC team members and support staff.

Loving and devoted wife of Lino Quattrin, godmother to Gabriella (Colussi Arthur) and Sonya (Lazzer Barillari), she will be dearly missed by all those with whom she shared her life and all special occasions: her close friends and neighbours, the members of the Colussi and Lazzer families, and the extended Zoppola Club family.

She will be most lovingly remembered in the role of great-aunt by Alexander, Thomas, Daniela, Stefania, Sophia and Stella.

Her greatest joy came from helping others and she especially loved helping seniors, serving for many years on the Ladies Auxiliary at Villa Colombo.

She was so proud of her 36 years as a civil servant at Revenue Canada (on Adelaide St. W.) and the lifelong friendships she formed there.

She was instrumental in recommending many young university students for summer positions and they always remember her as "Aunt Edie".

Her passions were sewing and knitting and she specialized in baby outfits for newborns and special occasion cardigans and wool hats for friends and family.

These, as well as the ferocious loyalty she demonstrated for the persons she loved and admired, constitute her legacy of love.

Donations to Runnymede Health Care would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.

Family and friends will be received at Bernardo Funeral Home, 2960 Dufferin Street, on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Church on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow.
