Corbet AliceCORBET, Alice "Jane"   -  May 23, 1956 - November 21, 2021

Jane passed peacefully on November 21, 2021 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was surrounded her cherished family.

Remembering her with love and affection are her sisters Anne Potocnik (Tom) and Brenda Gray (Gord), and her brother Campbell Corbet (Kristine), nieces and nephews Stephanie (Nick), Katie, James, Sam, and Ben.

Predeceased by father, Tim Corbet, loving mother Arlene Corbet. Jane was totally devoted to her family. Jane loved to cook and bake for all the special holidays and birthdays.

She loved travelling with friends and family, enjoying nothing more than laying on the beach or sitting by the pool in the sun. Having graduated with a degree in anthropology she was always keen to visit museums and old churches.

She sang in the car with abandon to old tunes and she loved to dance.

Jane had a very sharp intellect and strong sense of justice. She dedicated her career to the field of Human Resources in the provincial public sector. She was a respected senior HR professional who provided guidance and advice to a number of key projects.

Jane continued to work until her cancer diagnosis. A private ceremony will be held by the family.

Expressions of sympathy on Jane's behalf may be made to Princess Margaret Hospital or The Dorothy Ley Hospice.

We are deeply grateful to all who provided love and support along the way.

Go fly with your mom and angels now. We will miss you.
