CHANTLER, Margaret (Moe) Ruth - After a courageous battle with MDS, it is with deep sadness the family of Moe Chantler announces her passing, on November 23, 2021, at Brampton Civic Hospital.
Cherished daughter to Thomas Simcoe and Florence Simcoe (nee Bidwell), beloved wife of the late Percy Chantler, loved by her brothers and sisters.
Loving mother to Clayton (predeceased) and Lori (partner), Catherine and Michael (spouse) and Craig and Kim (spouse).
Devoted grandmother of Kiera and Ian (spouse), Cameron and Nicole (partner), Kayla and Christian (spouse), Cheyenne and Luca (partner), Clayton and Dorry (fiance) and Cassidy.
Devoted great-grandmother of Kai, Kain, Liam and Rory. Moe enjoyed golfing with her buddies at Huntington and Blue Mountain.
The family would like to thank Dr. G. Masterson, the staff at the Oncology Clinic, Oncology/ Palliative, who gave compassionate care to our mother.
We also would also like to thank the staff and friends at Greenway Retirement Home who were like a second family to Moe, the "unofficial CEO" of Greenway.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Orange Shirt Day (www.orangeshirtday.org) would be appreciated.
A private celebration of life for family will be held at a later date.
