GABURA, Margaret "Joanne" (nee MIDDLEMISS) - Passed peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Friday, November 26, 2021 at the age of 80.
Joanne was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Gabura (2014).
A loving mother to Bob (Paula) Chapman; a devoted grandmother to Jacob, Josh and Alisha; and a caring sister to Robert (Cathy) and aunt to his daughter Tara (Cory) and her children Gloria, Shaemus and Charlotte.
Joanne will also be deeply missed by her partner for the past couple years, Bill Chapman.
Visitation will be held at Smith's Funeral Home, Burlington, on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 3:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held also at Smith's on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. There are no capacity restrictions for the visitation or service, however proof of full vaccination is required to attend. Please contact funeral home for contact tracing purposes.
For those who wish, donations in Joanne's honour to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Hamilton General Hospital and/or Joseph Brant Hospital would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
