UNGUREAN, Erika E. - Erika Elizabeth Ungurean, age 86, passed away peacefully, November 25, 2021.
She was born July 22, 1936, in Budapest, Hungary, to Elizabeth and Dezso Detari.
Erika spent many pleasurable hours baking for her family and friends.
She was also a dedicated longtime member of the First Hungarian Presbyterian Church.
Erika is survived by her partner Ezra Barnahor; daughters Susan Cumming and Scarlett Ungurean; her grandchildren, Erin Cumming, Samantha McGuire and her husband James; and great-grandchildren Bronwyn and Rory McGuire.
All of these she loved and touched deeply.
She took great joy in family time and watching her great-grandchildren at play.
Please join us in the celebration of her life on Monday, December 20, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., for a graveside service at York Cemetery, North York, Ontario M2N 5Z5, Section A, Lot 837. Reception to follow.
