RIVERS, Elizabeth Jean (nee MURPHY) - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Beth) Rivers.
She died at home, on December 3, 2021, in her 97th year.
Her husband was the late Russell Rivers.
Beth will be remembered as a kind, generous and loving person with a gift for fun and humor.
Her love of the time she spent as a child at the Forks of the Credit was something she carried in her heart all her days.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Marybeth, Jane, Jill, Penny and Michael, as well as her 9 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Dixon Garland Funeral Home, Markham, on December 10th, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. As per family request, proof of vaccination will be required. Due to COVID restrictions, there will be a Private Funeral Service at Box Grove Church on December 11th.
