Griscuks EdnaGRISCUKS, Edna Mary (nee CADEU)   -   It is with great sadness that the family of Edna Griscuks announce that she went home to the Lord after a short courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 in her 81 year.

Edna was born and raised in Port Severn, moved to Toronto with her husband Vic where she enjoyed a lifelong career with the TTC.

A devout Catholic with years of volunteering and as a member of the Catholic Women's League and Legion of Mary.

All those that had the pleasure of meeting her, fell in love with her sparkling blue eyes, friendliness, kindness but most of all her witty personality. She spoke with everyone she met and left a lasting impression of her expressive eyes.

Edna is reunited with Vic in heaven, her husband of 56 years.

Loving mother of Daina (Al Kingdon) and dear big sister to Eva Murphy (predeceased Clarence), Lorraine Hamilton, Beverly Roper, Barry Cadeau (Carolyn), Joe Cadeau (Dee-Ann), Charlene Rowe (Rob); Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her generosity and her interest in everything they did.

She leaves behind many friends, whether she knew you for years or recently met you, you were a friend for life. Thank you to Bayshore HealthCare nursing staff and Dr. Candusso who helped make her last days comfortable.

A personal thank you to her sister Eva, who provided a home filled with love, support, and a lifetime of fun. Partners in crime to the end. The love you showed will always be remembered.

Gone but never forgotten. Forever in our hearts.

A Private Family Mass will be held at St. Timothy Church.

Donations can be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society through St. Timothy Catholic Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

A tree will be planted in memory of Edna at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
