PULLA, Vincenzo - May 2, 1930 – January 10, 2022
God called Vincenzo peacefully on January 10, 2022 surrounded by his family.
He is now reunited in Heaven with his loving wife, Irma.
Cherished by his dear children Joe (Enza Fusco), and Rita. Proud Grandfather to Vincent (Christina Simonetti), Elizabeth, Juliana, Stefano, and Bianca.
Vincenzo will be lovingly remembered by his companion Maria Fragaglia. No words can adequately express our sadness at the passing of our beloved family Patriarch and Mentor.
Affectionately known as "Jimmy", he left his home in Italy in 1958 for a better life in Canada.
With much hardship, sacrifices and the assistance of his family, he founded Johnvince Foods and revolutionized the grocery industry throughout Canada.
He was a man of simplicity and generosity but also a grand visionary who created a legacy.
He loved nothing more than to share his table with family and friends. His infectious smile and laughter will be fondly remembered. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Maple Chapel, 211 McNaughton Road East, on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 2-9 p.m.
