SMITH, Robert Graham  -  I'm on island time! We are sad to announce, Graham passed away at his home in Richmond Hill, on December 29, 2021.

Graham enjoyed working with kids, first as a senior counselor at Bolton Camp and upon graduation, he became a respected public school teacher and took on the role of guidance counselor towards the end of his career.

Graham was also part of the Canadian Ski Patrol (Ontario) for close to 40 years and he was in charge of First Aid and ran courses for other patrollers to acquire the same skills.

Graham was never one to blow his own horn and in fact, he was given the "Unsung Hero" award by the PAB Islanders Association 2012 in recognition of his many behind the scenes contributions.

He handled the "Channels & Bouys" and Map publication responsibilities for countless years.

Graham taught himself to be an entertaining magician and really enjoyed bantering with his young audiences, especially with his niece and nephew.

Overall, Graham accomplished a lot in his lifetime.

RIP Uncle Gray. Your family will miss you dearly!
