Sallustio LucianoSALLUSTIO, Luciano - With great sadness and a heavy heart, the family of Luciano Sallustio announces his passing at the age of 82. Luciano passed peacefully at 2:20pm on January 20, 2022 at Woodbridge Vista Community Care, surrounded by his loving wife and two daughters.

Luciano will be remembered as a compassionate, loving, generous, adventurous, and courageous son, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Luciano was born on November 27, 1939 in Modugno, Bari, Italy to his loving parents Filomena (Bungaro) Sallustio and Gennaro Sallustio, for which he is now reunited in Heaven with.

Luciano lived in Italy until 1960 when he moved to Toronto, ON, Canada and found the love of his life Mary (Pantaleo). They have been together for 60 years, married for 57 years.

Luciano spent his career working at Miracle Food Mart (Steinmart) until his retirement. In retirement, Luciano spent his time caring for his loved ones, enjoying time with his grandchildren, traveling with his wife, watching soccer games and playing cards. Luciano was always the life of the party and brought joy and laughter to everyone he encountered.

Luciano is survived and will be deeply missed by his loving wife Mary, his daughters Milena (George) and Angela (Bart), his grandchildren Anthony (Jessica), Cristina (Adam), Rosanna (Nick), Jeremy, Justin, Joseph, and his great grandchildren Giacomo, Emilia, and Henry Louie.

Visitation arrangements (scheduled) are entrusted with Scott funeral home, Woodbridge chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations made in Luciano’s name to Hospice Vaughan. We are so grateful and appreciative to the wonderful staff and volunteers for all their hard work and compassion during such a difficult time.
