Granata AntonioGRANATA, Antonio - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Antonio Granata on January 20th, 2022.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marja Zofia Granata (Nee Kaczmarek), his children Robert Anthony, Nancy Marija Granata, Nadia Elena Maria and Marco Anthony Granata, his grandchildren, Vanessa Thea and Michael Anthony Granata.

He leaves behind his dear brother & sister-in-law Altero and Ofelia Granata and their children Debbie Salituro (Marcello Salituro) and Dennis Granata (Paola Granata) and their children.

Antonio lived a life full of love, laughs and family. He loved to go ice fishing and watch Formula One/Indy racing whether it was during the afternoon while sipping a glass of favorite Mateus or at 2 am in the morning while everyone else was asleep.

But above all else, Antonio loved his family. He worked hard all his life to give his family all the opportunities he never had. He came to Canada from Italy at the mere age of 16 to start a new, bright life and eventually founded the company Sherway Painting that created lifelong friendships and connections.

His absence has been felt throughout the lives he came in contact with. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Ti amo, papa, ti amo

Scheduled visitation arrangements are entrusted with Scott funeral home, Woodbridge chapel.
