AMBURY, Ursula Rosemarie (nee KRONBERG) - Ursula Rosmarie Ambury (née Kronberg) died peacefully, on January 17, 2022.
Ursula was born in 1936 in Estonia, to her parents, Margarete and Arnold Kronberg.
During the Second World War she lived in Germany, then London, England, and finally immigrated to Canada in 1952.
She lived in Montreal where she graduated from West Hill High School in 1954.
Here she was known as a lively, artistic quick-witted friend.
After marrying John Ambury in 1965, she settled happily in Toronto with John and the cats.
She and John also enjoyed traveling and visiting the many places in Europe that were meaningful to her.
o maintain balance later in life, she practiced yoga regularly and her yoga group became cherished friends beyond the yoga mats.
Predeceased by her husband John Ambury in 2020, Ursula is fondly remembered by Hans and Rosemarie Puhk's family, many Ambury family members, and the numerous friends she has made over the years.
In keeping with Ursula's wishes, private cremation has taken place.
Donations in Ursula's memory can be made to the Etobicoke Humane Society or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
