Goold ScottGOOLD, Scott  - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear Scott Goold on January 18, 2022.

Scott was taken from us far too soon at 60 years of age.

Upon his passing, Scott was surrounded by his wife of 35 years, Christine, and his three children, Wade, Carling and Brett.

Scott is survived by his mother, Kay Goold, his sisters Karen Dunfee (Pat) and Tammy Funk (Steve), in addition to nephews Jay Funk, Ryan and Sean Dunfee, and nieces Elise and Celine Funk.

He was predeceased by his father Jay Goold. Scott is also survived by his mother-in-law Vlasta Schlegel, brother-in-law Peter and sisters-in-law Elfi and Andrea (and their collective families).

He was predeceased by his father-in-law Peter Schlegel. Scott's high energy and love for sports was a consistent theme throughout his life. Whether he was playing, coaching, or mentoring, Scott was an active member in the Oakville community.

He volunteered for many years and was involved with the Oakville Rangers Hockey Club, Oakville Soccer Club, Mississauga Terriers Hockey Club and the Oakville Blue Devils Soccer Club.

He worked with Linde/Praxair for the past 31 years.

A special thanks to all the nurses and doctors at the Toronto General Hospital, who worked so hard to try and return Scott to our family and friends.

A gathering in his honour will be organized later in the year when health restrictions allow family and friends to gather freely and safely.
