JANTZI, Barbara Janice (nee SMITH) - August 19, 1951 - January 20, 2022
It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Barb Jantzi (nee Smith), at home in her 70th year, ten days following her cancer diagnosis.
Barb brought so much light into a world which wasn't always kind to her.
In the face of adversity, she was especially courageous, kind and composed.
She wasn't afraid to be herself.
She had a lively spirit and retained her child-like sense of wonder to the end.
Barb was the loving wife of Brian Jantzi; proud mother of Sarah and identical twins Laura and Tia; and joyous grandmother of Liam Molnar.
She is survived by her mother Evlyne Smith, her half-brothers Michael Smith and Lary Smith (of her late father Robert (Bob) Charles Smith) and her half-siblings Marlene, Valerie, Susan, Paul, Mario, and Lisa (of her late biological father Mariano Antonio Elia).
Her body was cremated.
A celebration of life will take place on her birthday in August.
