WEATHERBE, Karen Lynn - Passed away at Toronto General Hospital, on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at the age of 78.
Beloved wife of Donald for 50 years.
Loving mother of Andrew (Leanne) and the late Eric (1994).
Cherished grandmother of Ryan, (Stefanie) Danica and Oscar. Dear sister of Jim, Susan (Bruce), Diane (deceased) and Heather, and sister-in-law to Steve (Jane), and Jocelyn. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Fondly remembered by her loving sisters at heart Charlene and Karen.
Karen received her BA at the University of Waterloo.
After a respected career in teaching Special Education in Toronto, Karen will be missed by her many students, colleagues, family, and friends. She will always be remembered for her kindness, compassion and quick humour.
Her love of quilting, crafting, gardening and travelling.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, Mississauga, on Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 2-3 p.m., with a Celebration of Life to follow at 3 p.m. in the Chapel. All guests must show proof of full vaccination in order to attend, and masks must be worn.
