Harris KatherineHARRIS, Katherine Louise  -  Passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones, after a hard-fought battle with Alzheimer's Dementia, on Thursday, April 14, 2022.

Kitty will be missed by Family and many Good Friends.

Surviving Polio as a child, she never let that stop her from doing anything she set her mind to even with her physical limitation.

Her passion and chosen career as a Teacher led to her teaching for the Scarborough School Board, being a Red Cross instructor; as well being a Leader and Trainer for the Girl Guides of Canada, which gave her opportunities to travel the world.

She loved music and belonged to several choirs, Toronto Classical Singers and the Choir at Eglinton St. George's United Church.

Many thanks to the amazing staff at River Glen Haven for the outstanding compassion and care! A private celebration of life to be held at a later date.

Arrangements wiyh the MW Becker Funeral Home, Keswick, Ontario.

Donations to your local Alzheimer Society, in lieu of flowers, would be appreciated.
