It is with sad hearts that the family of Florence Agatha Hamilton-Dicker announces her passing peacefully at the Peterborough Hospital in her 94th year.
Wife to Ernest George (deceased). Beloved mother to Daughn (Geoff Dean) Mitchell, Sally (Tom) Budani, Selwyn (Janice) Hamilton-Dicker, Sharon (Jamie) Foster.
Grandmother of Tina (Rick), Chris (deceased), David (Laleh), Nicole, Gabriella (Brian), Monique, Alan (Kathrin), and Ethan.
Great-grandmother to Kian, Alexander, and Henry.
Florence will be sadly missed by sister, Mortica Chin (Wilson deceased).
Predeceased by her parents, Irene (Senior) and Cecil James; and siblings, Cynthia "Cissy" (George) Haffenden, Glenford "Glen" (Hazel), Vivia, Harold "Bucknor", Cecil "Knoll" (Francis), Robert "Bobby" (Royston).
She was known as "Aunt Mur" to all her nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much.
Florence was born in Treasure Beach, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. She moved to Canada in 1968, with her husband and four children.
She was an active member of her church. She wrote the book, "The Elixir Vitae, Eureka!"
