GRASSO, Pasquale Vincenzo   -  January 6, 1932 - April 13, 2022

Pasquale (Patrick, Pat) is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, and their three sons, Allen (Kim), Michael (Lorraine) and Brian (Carrie).

Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Samantha, Julian, Daniel, Chase and Miyah.

Pat came to Canada from Italy in 1951 and settled in Niagara Falls, working first in construction and later at Gerber's baby food.

He became involved in District 50 of the United Mine Workers, eventually joining the staff upon merger with the United Steelworkers of America (USW).

Settling in Toronto, he eventually became the Director of Organizing for Ontario.

After retiring from the USW, he joined the staff of the Ontario Labour Relations Board as an adjudicator and was active on the Provincial Executive of the NDP.

The family will have a private service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
