HALIUK, Verna (nee DANCHAK) - Peacefully, at Rockcliffe Care Community, Scarborough on Saturday, April 16, 2022, in her 91st year.
Much loved mother of Ronald and Randy. Beloved grandma of Zackary.
Predeceased by her husband Alex (2009).
Predeceased by her parents Anna and Peter Danchak and seven brothers and sisters (Mary, Tom, Joe, Helen, Stella, Kathleen, and Mike).
Verna is remembered by many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, no funeral service was held.
Verna was interred privately on Friday, April 22, 2022.
The family would like to thank all the staff and caregivers at Rockcliffe Care Community for the care they provided Verna during her final years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
