Lamey LauncelotLAMEY, Launcelot Keith Lamey   -  Slipped away peacefully, to meet his Saviour, Thursday, April 21, 2022.

Born July 7, 1931, Keith leaves behind his beloved wife of 64 years, Vera (nee Johnson), and children Patricia (Edgar), Christine (Andrew), Keitha, Raymond (Lisa).

Keith was loved and adored by his grandchildren Taylor, Danny, Phieffer, Keith Coburn, Nolan, Timothy, Lewis, Russell, J and great-grandchild Ezra.

He was predeceased by brothers Manuel, Roy, Everard (aka Goody), Gladstone (aka Frenny) and sister Rose.

He is survived by sisters Myrtle and Gloria.

Keith is uncle and great-uncle to many.

Keith trained as a carpenter in his native Jamaica and travelled to England, where he married Vera. He was a proud retired member of The Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners Union from 1966 to 2022.

He divided his retirement years between Canada and Jamaica. Keith had a quiet faith that sustained him throughout his life. He was an avid supporter of his beloved Toronto sports teams: the Blue Jays, Raptors, Argos and the Leafs (another evidence of his faith).

A man of few words, Keith was truly blessed and will be missed by many.

Lay down your hammer and saw and rest!

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael's Hospital or the Scarborough Health Network.

Please contact McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, to gather visitation and funeral details.
