FRIEDLAND, Doreen - Passed away peacefully, on Friday, April 29, 2022, at the age of 89.
Doreen is survived by her 3 loving daughters: Sari (Manse), Ellen (Arthur), and Lisa (David) and her grandchildren, Allison (Jules), Jackie (Brayden), Jordan (Christine) and Jake.
Her grandchildren have everlasting memories of their Bubbie, and their Papa, Sheldon Friedland, who predeceased his wife of 63 years in 2017.
Doreen and Sheldon made their home at the Grenadier Retirement Residence just prior to Sheldon's passing.
While at the Grenadier, Doreen received the utmost in care and respect from all the staff, truly making her feel at home.
A special thanks to her caregivers from ComForCare, and an extra special thanks to Laverne and Dolkar, her "girls", who were with her from the beginning.
They will forever be a part of our family. Doreen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother with a great strength of character; always so open, accepting and respectful to her family and friends.
She will be sadly missed. The funeral will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 at Benjamin’s Park Memorial Chapel
