Amos DorothyAMOS, Dorothy Lillian   -  Born November 13, 1925 in Toronto, Ontario, Dorothy passed away in hospital in Toronto on May 1, 2022.

Dearly missed by her many friends as well as her relatives, Doreen Allison Ryan (AB), Colin Ryan (AB), Lynn Gardiner (WI), Helen Hamilton (UK), Hils Bateman (UK), Kate Kaye (UK), Nigel Edwards (UK) and Val Scott (UK).

Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, William and Nellie (Peacock), as well as her dear friends, Lucy Leith and Jean Harkness.

Dorothy spent her entire career working for The Canada Life Insurance Company located in Toronto, Ontario.

She was a dedicated lifelong member of the following organizations: United Church of Canada, the UCW (United Church Women), the former Toronto CGIT (Canadian Girls in Training) Board, and Ryde Lake Camp.

Visitation will take place at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles - Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue, Toronto on Saturday, May 7th from 10:00 a.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations in the memory of Dorothy can be made to Ryde Lake Camp.
