SUTHERLAND, Donald Sutherland - A retired teacher and Vice Principal at Jarvis Collegiate Institute, Toronto, passed away peacefully at Princess Margaret Hospital, on Monday, April 18, 2022.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia; and children, Karensa (Patricia), David and Karin (Brigitte).
Don was truly a wonderful man; his presence left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
We were all blessed to have known him and loved him. Don Sutherland was born on September 15, 1941, in Waterford, Ontario. Preceded in death by parents, Dr. Winston and Florence Sutherland.
At Don's request, there will be no funeral service. There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, 263 Roncesvalles Ave., Toronto, on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 11 a.m.
