MACRI, Antonietta - June 1, 1929 – May 6, 2022
Born in Chiaravalle Centrale CZ, Italy, she grew up during the depression and WWII.
Times were tough but full of joy in a family of 6 kids.
In 1946 she married Felice and that love story lasted 72 years, until his death in 2018.
He immigrated to Canada in 1952 and Antonietta joined him; with Angela and Maria in 1955.
They had a great life, first on Gerrard St., then Vanbrugh Ave., followed by Pinegrove Ave.
In 1970 they moved to Agincourt, where they were in their glory! A 1/4-acre lot, and great neighbors from beginning to end, meant lots of tomatoes and green beans She leaves behind her children, Angela (the late Domenico), Vincenzo (deceased), Maria (Alfredo), and Vincenzo II.
Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her treasures: Joe and Gina, kids Domenic and Michael; Lisa and Ben, kids Thomas and Victoria; Gianni and Rosie, kids Liliana and Alfredo; and her most treasured grandchild, Daniela, who died in 2017.
Antonietta is resting at Highland Funeral Home, Scarborough, 3280 Sheppard Ave E., on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, from 4 until 8 p.m. The Funeral mass will be at Holy Spirit Parish (3525 Sheppard Ave E.) Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow.
