HANNAH, Michael   -  It is with profound sadness that the family of Michael Hannah announce his unexpected passing on May 14, 2022, at the age of 76 years.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, resident of Toronto, son of Roy Webster Hannah and Elizabeth (nee Traegar) Hannah.

Mike was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ann Catherine Hannah (nee McMillin) seven months earlier; and brother, Garry Hannah.

Mike is survived by his daughters, Katherine (Jonathan Parks) and Karen (Loic Danis); and cherished grandchildren, Eloise, Henry, and Miles.

Mike was the centre of gravity around which all holidays, birthdays, and milestones were celebrated enthusiastically, reflecting his immeasurable love of family.

Sociable and warm-hearted, Mike will be sorely missed by his best friends, Rolf Nielsen (Deborah) and Paul Foster (Barbara), with whom many adventures were lived to their fullest.

A semi-retired chartered accountant, and travel industry executive, Mike enjoyed his work with Skal and helping his many friends with their taxes. Mike enriched the lives of those around him, as a husband, father, grandfather and friend. It is of some relief that Mike passed hours prior to the Toronto Maple Leafs' latest game 7 playoff disappointment, sparing final injury to a lifelong fan.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 26th at 2:00 p.m. at All Saints Kingsway, 2850 Bloor St. W., Etobicoke.

Reception to follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Lambton Golf and Country Club, 100 Scarlett Road.

In lieu of flowers, donations in honour of Mike's wife, Ann, may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
