BELL, Faye (nee KOCIMORSKI) - December 10, 1920 - May 28, 2022
On Saturday May 28, 2022, our sweet, beautiful, and loving mother Faye passed away at age 101.
She was loved by all who knew her. She was our "Ruth Bader Ginsburg".
Her resilience and positive outlook on life were inspirational for many.
Fiercely independent until the end, she was blessed to have a sharp mind, a durable body, and a nurturing and affectionate spirit.
Faye came to Canada from Lagow, Poland in 1930 at age 10 with her grandmother Leah, having lost her father Hershel and her mother Tzeryl early in life.
She married Morris Bell in 1942 and was alive to remember her 80th wedding anniversary.
Preceded in death by her husband Morris, and her brother Labish, she leaves behind a daughter Cheryl (British Columbia), a son and daughter-in-law Hershey and Marianne (North Carolina), grandchildren Alex, Zach, Nicholas, Andrew and Audrey as well as great- grandchildren.
She will also be deeply missed by Howard Ovens and Gale Rubenstein of Toronto whose mother Helen was Faye's best friend and a sister to her all of her life.
We are all comforted in the knowledge that Faye and Helen are now reunited eternally.
