RAE, Stuart Bruce - 1957 - 2022 Stuart Bruce Rae passed away April 19, 2022 in Toronto, Ontario.
He will be greatly missed by his mother; Mary (Buchan) Rae; his father, Bruce Rae; his sister; Sharon Rae; niece, Rachel Becker; nephews, Geoffrey and Timothy Becker; his relatives, and friends.
Stuart was born in Sudbury, Ontario, and attended Lasalle Secondary.
During his teen years, Stuart was a bagpipe member of the Copper Cliff Highlanders, providing travel to such places as Edinburgh, Scotland.
Stuart graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honours B.Sc. in Zoology.
He was a member support volunteer with World Wildlife fund for a time.
Stuart enjoyed travelling, visiting Nepal, India, Africa, Europe, South America, and the Galápagos Islands.
Stuart worked at, and recently retired from, the University of Toronto.
