BAMFORD, James (Jim) Arthur   -   1942 - 2022  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim on Monday, June 6th, with his wife and children by his side.

Born to the late Madge and Howard Bamford on April 9, 1942 in Toronto, Ontario.

Jim grew up in Leaside, the third generation to look after the family business, "Bamford's Produce Company" in Toronto, Ontario.

Son, Stephen, continues the family legacy today, as the fourth generation.

Jim was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Bamford.

Jim leaves behind his wife, Jeffrey Sharon Bamford (nee Legate), daughter, Patti Bamford, son, James Stephen Bamford (wife Robyn) and three grandchildren, Mackenzie, Tyson and James, as well as many loving in-laws, "outlaws", nieces and nephews and their families.

Also important to Jim were his hunting and fishing friends - especially his lifelong friend, Barry Austin (wife Rachelle). Jim was a pillar in Toronto business, with a strong love of time with family and enjoying the outdoors.

He had a love of sharing his passion for the outdoors, hosting fishing days for children and raising fish in tanks at a local school to stock nearby lakes.

The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville) on Tuesday, June 14th from 1:00 – 3:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A service will be held on Wednesday, June 15th at 11:00 a.m. for family and friends.

If desired, donations in his memory may be made to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) - www.ofah.org.
