Gough LindaGOUGH, Linda Elizabeth (nee CHRISTENSEN)   -  Passed away on Monday, June 13th, in her 77th year, after a brief illness.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edna and Christen Christensen.

Loving mother to Jason Gough (wife Jeanie and Ace), and loving wife and best friend to husband, Carl Wesley Jean for 38 years.

Greatly loved and missed by Sister/Cousin, Barbara Anne Bohlin (Gunars); many cousins in Norway; friends in Canada including extended family in the Stratford area, and in the U.S.A.

Linda loved Kenya and the lifelong friends she made there, and as a result, was fluent in Swahili. 

She earned her degree in Social Work at Wilfred Laurier University in Kitchener/Waterloo. Linda enjoyed her career at Wellesley Hospital and Reconnect Community Health Services. 

Linda loved social and ballroom dancing, and nurturing her orchids, her green thumb inherited from her father. She travelled extensively around the world with Wes. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, on Tuesday, June 28th, with Visitation from 2 to 3 p.m., and the service at 3 p.m. in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Princess Margaret Hospital or the Charity of Your Choice.
