PODPECAN, Emilija "Milka" - Passed away peacefully, in Toronto, Ontario, on June 15, 2022, in her 82nd year.
She was born in Murska Sobota, Yugoslavia, on January 2, 1940.
Emilija is now reunited with her beloved late husband Steven Podpecan (November 1934 - February 2022).
She is survived by her loving son Stevin (Rita Santo) and her loving grandsons Phillip and David.
Emilija worked at Sick Children's Hospital for 42 years, where she made many friends. She will be forever remembered, loved and deeply missed by all of her family and friends.
Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W., on Monday, June 20th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, June 21st 2022 at 10:00am at Martin Luther Church, 2379 Lakeshore Blvd. W. Interment is to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, 1570 Royal York Rd.
Donations in memory of Emilija may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and Sick Kids Hospital.
