DRODY, Joseph Elias - 1930 - 2022 It is with deep sadness, and very heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of Joe on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
He was the adored patriarch of our family.
Joe was the loving husband to his wife of 51 years, Nelda (Lucas) Drody, who predeceased him in 2009.
He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his daughters, Donna and Alice; son-in-law, Troy Bradley; and grandchildren, Matthew and Lisa.
Joe was born in Gaspe, Quebec to his dear late parents, Joseph and Pearl (Grant) Drody.
Joe's kindness touched so many peoples' lives, and we were all so blessed to have had him in our lives.
We will always remember his love of music and his exceptional fiddle playing. Nothing meant more to Joe than his family, especially his grandchildren, Matthew and Lisa Bradley.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Pine Hills Cemetary, 625 Birchmount Rd., between the hours of 1 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
Service to follow at 2 p.m. He will be laid to rest at a later date in his beloved hometown of Douglastown, Gaspe, Quebec. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
