TODD, Charles - Passed away peacefully, while lovingly comforted by his family, at home, on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 93 years old.
Charles Todd (nee Dragan Todorovic) was a dearly beloved husband for 65 years to Rose Todd (nee Ruzica Milojevic); beloved father of Livia (Rory) Hunter and Alex (Mary) Todd; loving Deka of Cassie Hunter (Tim Love), Cal (Heather) Hunter, Natalie Todd (Mike Hernandez), and Lara Hunter (Tim Clifford).
Dear son of the late Natasha (nee Natalie Bartholomäi) and Sretan Todorovic; brother of the late Vera (Karlo) Kattner; dear uncle of Andreas Kattner, Xenia (Luca) Capor, and Mirela and Bora Milojevic; and great-uncle of Matia, Marko and Lucas Capor.
Is fondly remembered always smiling, with a zest for life, and was frequently heard declaring "never surrender".
Having travelled for work and pleasure extensively, he lived in Belgrade (Serbia), Baghdad (Iraq), and Toronto (Canada). Creating the best life for his family was his driving force, with tennis, tennis, and more tennis and many tennis friends being central to his life's fulfillment.
Retirement, enjoying Florida and Georgian Bay with his family allowed him to realize the lifestyle he desired.
He has left a legacy of love, positivity, and pursuit of happiness that infected all who know him.
Funeral Service at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 203 River Street, on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 11 a.m., followed by interment at York Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Toronto General Hospital, Cardiac Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
