For over 40 years, Bereaved Families of Ontario has been supporting grieving Ontarians. BFO offers peer based support at no cost to those in need.

We at Dignity Memorial support BFO and its affiliates.

The Dignity Memorial - GTA Team is proud to participate in the 5KM walk that will take place on Saturday October 15, 2022 in an effort to raise funds.

OHASHI, Giichi Frank   -  Self-taught musician, historian and electrician.

At St. Michael's Hospital, on Thursday, August 11, 2022, surrounded by family, at the age of 92, peacefully entered Nirvana.

Beloved husband of Fumiko. Dear father of daughters, Kelly (Jerry) Ohashi-Pisak and Carolyn (Jeff) Sagara.

Predeceased by his parents, Matsujiro and Take Ohashi; stepparents, Shosaku and Uta Ohashi; his brothers, Seiichi, Tamio and Mitsuru (Yoshiko); and sisters, Lillian Shizue (the late John Izo Ebata), Yuki (the late Masanobu Nakamura), Chiyo (the late Robert Toji Nishimura), Yoshiye June (the late Joe Ryota Ebata) and Betty Kikuye (the late Ben Thomas).

He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

The Visitation will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Toronto Buddhist Church, 1011 Sheppard Avenue West. COVID precautions (masking) will be in effect.

A Private Funeral will follow.

In lieu of flowers and koden, donations to the Toronto Buddhist Church or St. Michael's Hospital or a Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated by the family.
