PHILIP, Judith (Jud) Elizabeth (nee BUTLER)   -  The most wonderful mum, a devoted and cherished wife, a dedicated friend, Judy died peacefully at home after a long struggle with Alzheimer's.

Predeceased by her husband, Dr. William (Bill) F. Philip, and her son, Andrew (Andy) W. Philip, she leaves her daughters, Sue, Samantha, and son, Brian, daughters-in-law, Kim (Andy) and Susan (Brian), and grandchildren, David and Danielle (Andy) and Brogan (Brian).

Judy attended the University of Toronto, where she trained in Physical and Occupational Therapy, but it was in her relentless, lifelong dedication to volunteer work in Oakville where Judy's passions truly shone.

Judy pursued her love of learning throughout her life, enjoyed travel with friends and family and was a tremendous gardener, found more frequently outdoors than in.

She was happiest with family, in Oakville or at the cottage in Port Elgin, and delighted in the company of her Scotties.

Judy would do anything for her family and was stronger than she ever gave herself credit for.

She will be missed forever.

We are eternally grateful to Dr. Martha Graham for her care, kindness and humour; to our dedicated PSWs, Sianibeth Bragado and Eva (Vick) Canape; and to the wonderful nursing support at Acclaim Health.
