Spiteri LillianSPITERI, Lillian   -  It is with great sadness that the family of Lilian Le Prevost Spiteri, announces her passing, in her 78th year, on August 15, 2022.

Lilian was predeceased by her husband, Mario.

She was the dedicated mother of Carmen (David), Janey, Joe (Christina).

She leaves behind her grandchildren, Matthew, Anthony, Nicole, Olivia, Victoria and Claire, whom she loved with all her heart.

Lilian was a saint on earth. She overcame adversity throughout her life.

She was separated from her father as a young child and when her family reunited, they developed a special bond.

Lilian immigrated to Canada knowing very few people and having very little.

Mario used to say that without Lilian he would have had nothing. When Janey tragically passed away, Lilian raised Anthony, Nicole and Victoria from a young age and they considered her a second mother.

In her later years, after Mario entered Long Term Care, she visited him daily.

We are lucky to have had such a kind and loving mother and grandmother.

At Lilian's request, there will be no Visitation.

Friends and family are invited to join us in a Funeral Mass on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 3224 Dundas St. W., Toronto. The Mass will be followed by a private interment and burial.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in her honour may be made to the Charity of Your Choice.
