MASSINGHAM, Joan - It is with great sadness we announce the death of our cherished mother, Joan May Massingham (née Brand), who has passed away peacefully, in her 94th year, surrounded by her family on Friday, September 9, 2022.
Beloved wife of 56 years of Gary; a loving mother to Joanne, Christine (partner of Evangelina), Suzi ((Leonard), wife of Christopher) and Andrew; and devoted Grammy to Tess, Toby, and Maxine (Leonard).
A dear sister to the late Harold, Ford, Robert, Thomas, Doris (Dode), Patricia (Tish) and John.
A Memorial Service will be held at a future date.
The family would like to extend special thanks to all the staff at Maynard Nursing Home and the doctors and nurses and care providers in the Stroke Unit at St. Michael's Hospital for their extraordinary care.
