O'ROURKE, Thomas Francis ("Frank")   -   1930 - 2022  In Toronto, on September 13, 2022, in his 93rd year.

Born in Montreal. Moved to Toronto in 1972. Beloved husband of Gillian. Predeceased by his wife, Dolores (O'Brien, 1992).

Loving father of Jim (Pat), Dan (Linda), Susan (Dave McColl), Thomas, Carol Ann (Bob Boothby).

Much-loved "Grandad" of Laurie, Tom, Michael, Peter, Sean, Katie, Kevin, Candace, Patrick, Dylan, Jennifer, Christina, Lizzie, and Calvin.

"Great-Grandad" of Keira, Connor, Hope, Gage, Seamus, Lochlan, Kaylyn, Melanie, Shane, and Sophia. Brother-in-law of Maureen Roberts (Tony), Audrey Wright, Theresa (Andy Anderson), Terry O'Brien and Florence O'Brien and predeceased by Martin, Jim, and Michael O'Brien.

Stepfather of Allyson Henley (Jonas) and Vanessa Henley (Don). Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his siblings, Edna, John, Brian, and Noreen. Frank's life revolved around his family and he spent many happy summers at the cottage and swimming and sailing in Georgian Bay.

He delighted in our annual Father's Day picnic and our family book club. He was an avid Raptors fan and a season ticket holder from Day 1. Frank believed in a life of service and volunteered with his parishes, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, the PTA, coaching sports, and the Golden Legends (Nortel Community Volunteers).

Gillian greatly enriched Frank's life and they had twenty wonderful years together and enjoyed family gatherings, cross-Canada camping trips, cruises, bus trips with friends, dining out and going for afternoon coffee.

Frank had a long and rewarding career at Northern Electric/Nortel, retiring in 1986. He subsequently taught Community College courses in Quality Engineering for many years.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Turner & Porter (Butler), 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke.  Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 30, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 480 Rathburn Rd., followed by interment. The family respectfully requests that all attendees wear masks.

Donations, in remembrance, may be made to St. Vincent de Paul (Nativity of Our Lord Conference.) You have finished your race, you have kept your faith. Your to-do list is done.
