Possian HasmigPOSSIAN, Hasmig (nee ZOBYAN)   -  An irreverent couturier armed with a playful sense of humour and insatiable curiosity, Hasmig made every room she walked into a bit more wonderful.

She designed everything from intricately constructed ball gowns to simple blouses; works of art that made her clients feel beautiful.

She was a creative, sarcastic, and glamorous force of nature, who always lived life on her own terms.

Hasmig passed away peacefully, on Saturday evening, with her daughter, Amara, and her son-in-law Tony, by her side.

She was predeceased by her parents, Bedros and Seta Zobyan (née Shamlian); her uncle, Vahram Zobyan; and her aunt, Arpi Meras (née Shamlian). She faced her death as she did her life, with no filter or fear.

Though she was certain she would only be missed by her beloved dog, Astris, and possibly her daughter, for once in her life, she was wrong. Her many friends and extended family will sorely miss her.

Hasmig didn't want a funeral, but those who would like to pay their respects are welcome to drop by her family home this week.

In lieu of flowers, she hoped you would donate to the Toronto Humane Society, or an animal shelter of your choice.

A Celebration of Life will also be held at a later date.
