VESCIO, Lidia - December 16, 1931 - September 17, 2022
With heavy hearts, the family of Lidia Vescio announce the passing of a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the age of 90.
Born on December 16, 1931, in Conflenti, Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy, to Francesco and Rosina Passarelli.
She will be reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Nicolino.
Loving mother to Fernando (Lisa) and Anne Marie (Art).
Proud nonna to Stefani (Daniele), Giordana, Erica, Nicole, Alessandro and Alana. Cherished bis-nonna to Chiara.
Lidia will be fondly remembered as a second mother to her brother, Giovanni; and her sisters, Maria and Vincenzina.
She will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews and many family and friends in Italy and Toronto.
Thank you Mamma for your selfless devotion and the many wonderful and memorable meals you prepared for us full of love.
In memory of Lidia, donations may be made to The Covenant House Toronto or The Alzheimer Society of Toronto.
Guests will be received at Delmoro Funeral Home, 61 Beverly Hills Dr., on Friday, September 23rd, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Philip Neri on Saturday, September 24th, at 11 a.m. (2100 Jane St.). Entombment to follow.
