GOODCHILD, Charles Alexander - Passed away at the age of 93, at St. Michael's Hospital, July 16, 2022.
He leaves behind wife, Jeanne (née Moore) and his children, Lisa (Walton Chan) and Andrew (Dallas Guilbeault).
He was predeceased by his brothers, Herbert and Robert.
Charlie was born in Toronto and spent most of his life there.
As a young man, wanderlust led him to travel with a merchant marine ship from Vancouver to the Far East.
Back home, he worked in printing and opened Print Dynamics which he ran with Jeanne as his bookkeeper.
Charlie was a great family man and died just a few days short of his 61st wedding anniversary. He will be missed by his children and grandchildren, Brian and Connor Goodchild and Sophia and Colin Goodchild-Chan. He was a very proud grandfather and shared stories of his grandkids with everyone he met.
A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the east chapel of Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, 230 St. Clair Ave. W.
