Ackland BeverleyACKLAND, Beverley Jane (nee DAVIES)   -  Beverley passed away on October 29, 2022, in her 84th year, after a long struggle with cancer.

A Toronto girl her entire life, she was the eldest daughter of Gordon "Taffy" and Edith Davies, and sister to Dianne (Don) Curtis and Norma (Chuck) Gregg.

Mother to Gary (Julia) and Susan; grandmother extraordinaire to William (Katie), Benjamin (Meyessa), Alexandra, Courtney and Jeffrey, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graduate of Leaside High, and a world traveller who visited all seven continents, she was always generous with her time and charity.

Beverley was full of energy, the queen of her condo's exercise classes.

She was always willing to make new friends or help anyone in need.

A frequent user of the free condo bus, she always maintained she lived in the best condo in Toronto. She could be frequently seen taking long walks along the Toronto harbourfront.

An aficionado of all things pears, jigsaw puzzles, all types of books and online games. She was very proud of her children, and most especially her grandchildren, either two or four legged.

She loved attending her grandchildren's theater or musical concerts, dancing and wearing purple at their weddings, or being the ever-doting babysitter.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Cancer Society of Canada or the Hennick Bridgepoint Palliative Care Unit.

A private interment was held.
